Event Description: The Massachusetts WIA Youth Basics provide an overview of the Massachusetts Workforce Investment Act youth program. The target audience for this training are youth staff (administrators, frontline workers or vendors) who are new to the Massachusetts Workforce System and who have little or no knowledge of the WIA youth program as well as those needing a refresher.

The training explores different strategies that infuse literacy/numeracy into traditional and non-traditional learning environments. The intended audience for this training are WIA youth vendors.
