StaffSkills Overview

Our StaffSkills Training Series are proven successes, serving over 400 workforce development professionals across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Each StaffSkills workshop has been the result of extensive focus groups, interviews, and participant recommendations. The results are tremendously effective, on-target training that inspires staff and enhances program performance. All trainers are skilled facilitators and have deep experience in the areas being taught.

Each series can be adapted to meet the needs of an organization, region or entire state.   CWI's consultants work with administrators and staff to shape training and build the supports to help successfully integrate new skills and learning into the workplace. StaffSkills for Youth Workers

StaffSkills for Youth Workers is a modular training for front-line staff and supervisors. The focus is on skills and information needed to provide great counseling and case management services for youth. Instructors utilize music videos, case scenarios, featured speakers, peer coaching and small group work. All participants receive a certificate of attendance and a comprehensive StaffSkills binder.

Like all StaffSkills products, our Youth Worker version can be customized. Pre and post training consultation assure targeted training and integration of learning on the job.

StaffSkills Case Management/Coaching Series

StaffSkills Case Management/Coaching Series is intensive training for workforce development staff. We address the skills and information needed to provide great counseling and case management services for adults. Most often run over three days, StaffSkills serves up to 30 participants each series. Instructors utilize videos, actual case scenarios, featured speakers, role-play, peer coaching and small group work. All participants receive a certificate of attendance and a comprehensive StaffSkills binder.

Like all StaffSkills products, our Case Management/Coaching version is fully customizable. Pre and post training consultation assure targeted training and integration of learning on the job.
