Workforce Investment Profiles is an initiative of the Interagency Workgroup for Regional Profiles, facilitated by Commonwealth Corporation, under the auspices of the State Workforce Investment Board.
The workgroup convened to develop:
A template for state and regional summaries of key indicators of labor market demand and supply and workforce development investments, participation levels, and (eventually) outcomes, and
A strategy to build the capacity of regions to use current labor market and labor force data.
The result is the production of newsletters containing labor market, population, and workforce information. The regional and statewide newsletters may be accessed through the links below.
