Youth also participate in vocational shops such as culinary arts, metal fabrication, and machine shop for 6 to 8 hours a week for 28 weeks. In addition, youth partake in visiting job sites and exploring internship opportunities upon at least 8 weeks of vocational training completion. Each youth has a teacher mentor to create a support system for the youth. Youth are compensated with minimum wage rates for every hour completed of the program.
