Welcome to Commonwealth Corporation! We hope this website will be a resource to you.
Jobs and education are two of the highest priorities of the Patrick administration, and Commonwealth Corporation works to improve the intersection between these priorities. The staff at CommCorp works to advance the skill development of youth and adults in Massachusetts so that they can fully participate in the Commonwealth’s knowledge and innovation economy.
Working with Secretary Bump and our workforce partners, Commonwealth Corporation will be putting our research, convening, sector partnerships and innovative youth initiatives to work to better align labor force supply systems with demand. We work to strengthen the connections among education and workforce programs to increase the retention of students and workers through the transitions that are inherent in moving from secondary schooling to college and in moving back and forth between work and learning over the course of our careers. Such transitions are inevitable in the context of today’s fast-paced technological changes and global competition.
At Commonwealth Corporation we are focused on working with our regional partners in workforce, education, business and labor to ensure that the Massachusetts workforce system is responsive to demand and committed to the success of our students, workers and businesses.
I look forward to working with you -- our partners, customers and stakeholders -- in building a workforce system that can compete with any in the world.
Let us know what you think and how we may partner with you on your goals.
Sincerely,

Nancy Snyder
